Do children pay Cousin island landing fees?
On Cousin island children of all ages pay for the landing fees.
Do you cater for vegetarian?
We can offer vegetarian food but we will need to be advised 48hrs in advance of boat trips.
Do you take children onboard?
We take children 1yr old and over as at times with sea condition it might not be ideal for younger children.
Do children pay?
Rates will depend on the age of the child.
How do I confirm my boat reservation?
First select your boat activity on this website book by filling in the requested information. pay a deposit of 20% of your booking Total. Once the payment is received, the booking is confirmed.
Can pregnant ladies go on the boat?
It will depend on the stage of the pregnancy.
Can a trip be cancelled or postponed?
Yes, Angel Tours Pty LTD reserves the right to cancel, postpone or end an excursion in the event of bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances whereby the safety of guests and crew are at stake.
What are the starting time for the boat trips.
Most trips start at 9am and ends at 3.30pm. the morning half day and full day fishing starts at 7am. Trips from Mahe start at 7.30am and ends at 5pm. Private transfers will be at guests chosen transfer time.
What is the maximum carrying capacity?
Our smaller vessel can carry 14 passengers + 2 crew Our larger vessel can carry 25 passengers + 3 crew
How big is the boat?
Our smaller vessel is 29ft with 2×150 hp suzuki engines Our larger vessel is 36 ft with 2 x 300hp suzuki engines
Do you provide snorkeling gear?
If you have your own ;especially snorkeling mask set ,please feel free to bring them ,we do provide for guests who do not have,both mask & fins.
What can we bring along on excursions?
Swimwear, A beach towel, suncream, flipflops, waterproof camera, personal snorkeling gears.
What not to bring on board and or Trips?
Very sharp objects or glass containers, illegal drugs and substances, bulky bags or suitcases, high-heeled shoes.
Will we get a refund if we do not catch any fish on a fishing trip?
In the event of no fish caught ,no you will not be eligible for a refund.
How many people will be on the boat?
This will be set to maximum carrying capacity although we do not overload the vessel to ensure maximum passenger comfort.
Will we be alone on the island or beach?
Most of the islands are frequented by many tourists and some are national parks which have restriction where we can have a bbq so there will be common areas where all guests sit for lunch on the island.
How long is the boat ride on The excursion?
The boat trips do not exceed 30 mins at one time whereby the shortest trip from Curiuese to St Pierre is only 15 minutes. Boat trips from Mahe have an average duration of 1hour to 1hour15 mins depending on sea condition.
Is the underwater visibility great throughout the year?
No not at all times will the visibility be great depending on the water turbulence created by ocean currents at certain times of the year. Unfortunately there is very little we can do as this can last for a few days.
Can anyone participate in snorkeling activities?
We strongly recommend that all guests participating in snorkeling activities are able and confident swimmers, our snorkeling sight is minimum 2m deep with moderate currents at times and one cannot stand, Any guest uncertain on their swimming skills or have medical issues or disabilities must remain on board or seek assistance and permission from the skipper.
I have never fished before can I charter a fishing trip.
That is not a problem our experienced team is trained to assist and teach guests to properly use the equipments and safely land your first catch. We take great pride in the teaching process.
What is the chance of catching something on a fishing trip?
Although certain trips can be poor at times we have 95% of the time caught fish on all of our trips.
I don’t like a lot of people on the boat.
Many guests enjoy the boat only for themselves and company. The boat can be chartered privately with 2 crew members and customizable extras, please view our PRIVATE CHARTER page for top picks charter suggestions.
